Eye jiggle prefab for VRC Face Tracking

This is a prefab I made that makes adding a Vtuber-style eye jiggle effect to VRChat avatars with face tracking easier than ever!

Requirements:

• Unity knowledge
• Some Blender knowledge
• An Avatar with Adjerry's face tracking prefab applied - It has not been tested with avatars using other prefabs like EchoTheNeko, Fermata, etc. I cannot provide assistance with adapting this if it doesn't work on those. Though you are welcome to modify it yourself. If you get it to work with other templates, please let me know as I'd love to add it here!

How do I make it work?

1: Sculpt the six necessary blendshapes onto your head mesh in Blender

• Shrink: Main eye smaller
• Dilate: Main eye bigger
• MiddleShrink: Inside of the eye shrink and small floaties move inwards
• MiddleGrow: Like shrink, but the other direction
• Squish: Eye squishes horizontally(image below)
• Squash: Eye squishes vertically (Image below)

2: Import the package into your project

3: Go to Assets > Face Tracking Extra > Eye Jiggle and place the prefab named "VF_FT_Eye Bounce" onto your avatar's root

1 Alternate: If you don't want to take the avatar into Blender to make new blendshapes, you can also just edit the animation named "Eye Bounce" in the Eye Jiggle folder and make your own custom animation. This is up to you and there is no support for this. You are on your own

If it isn't working:

1: Make sure your avatar is using Adjerry's face tracking template. If it doesn't, it likely isn't compatible. Please do not contact me about this, I built this with Adjerry's template in mind and don't plan to adapt it to others if they don't work

2: Make sure your face mesh is named "Body". If your head mesh is not named body, please watch the included video called "Watch if head mesh is named different" for the workaround

3: Make sure you have the six necessary blendshapes AND they are spelled correctly
