BENIYOI & TEKKOKU — Interactive Pocket Watches | VRChat PCVR

Two interactive pocket watches for VRChat PCVR: BENIYOI, an ornate crimson watch with a touch-operated lid, and TEKKOKU, an open-face mechanical design without a lid.

CHOOSE YOUR VERSION

• TEKKOKU — USD 6: TEKKOKU only.

• BENIYOI — USD 8: BENIYOI only.

• Complete set — USD 12: both watches, with combined and individual prefabs.

HOW IT WORKS

Bring your right hand near the watch at your hip and make a fresh right-hand grip gesture to pick it up. You can release your grip while holding it. Move away from the hip first; to put it back, return with the grip released, then grip again near the original hip position.

While holding BENIYOI, touch the top edge / 12 o'clock side of the lid with your left hand to open it. Closing is blocked for the first second; after that, move your left hand away and touch again to close. Keeping contact does not repeatedly toggle the lid. TEKKOKU has no lid.

Expressions menu options include Show, Read in Right Hand and Mechanism. BENIYOI also has a hip-mode Open option. Decorative gears can be toggled independently from the clock hands.

The hands display the local viewer's time using VRChat's timezone settings. This is not a globally synchronized owner-time clock. The body and chains sway when worn; the held body stays stable while the chain can still move.

REQUIREMENTS & FITTING

• Windows / PCVR only; not standalone Quest or Android.

• Requires your own Humanoid avatar, VRChat SDK Avatars and Modular Avatar. Avatar-upload and Unity setup knowledge are required.

• Adjust the hip, right-hand and palm positions for your avatar. Universal fit without adjustment is not guaranteed.

• Install only ONE prefab: combined set OR one individual prefab. Do not stack set and single prefabs, because their parameters can conflict.

• Avatar, clothing, backgrounds and Blender source files are not included.

PERFORMANCE & TESTING

BENIYOI: 18,668 triangles per branch / 37,336 installed; 8 Skinned Mesh Renderers, 4 unique materials (8 slots), 5 PhysBones.

TEKKOKU: 13,167 triangles per branch / 26,334 installed; 4 Skinned Mesh Renderers, 2 unique materials (4 slots), 4 PhysBones.

Both installed: 63,670 triangles. Hip and hand branches are included in these installed totals.

Checked with Unity 2022.3.22f1, VRChat SDK 3.10.4 and Modular Avatar 1.18.7. The optimized P6 was accepted by the owner on Quest 3 connected to a PC. The final renamed and split v1.0.0 packages passed packaging / clean-import checks but were not retested in a headset. Other avatars/controllers, live two-client synchronization and measured FPS remain unverified.

IMAGES

Promotional images are AI-enhanced compositions based on the actual models. Reflections, lighting and backgrounds are enhanced; these are not unedited Unity screenshots. Background props are not included, and in-world appearance varies with lighting.

INCLUDED

The selected v1.0.0 Unity package, Japanese README, quick start, help, specifications, license, changelog and SHA256 checksums. The set contains both watches; each single version contains only its named watch.
