Fluffy magic space snakes!
That's the Sylora, which is what you see here - a slightly silly character species made by yours truly!
This is a VR-ready rigged and textured character avatar model, made entirely in Blender. The avatar includes:
- Realistic and expressive talking visemes.
- A full set of eye and face tracking blendshapes.
- An array of realistic body shape customization options. (See below for a list of what kinds of shapes exactly!)
- (If you get a version with bundled outfits) A variety of colorful and lore-friendly outfits, all of which work with the body customization blendshapes.
Here is what comes with the avatar upon purchasing:
- A pre-setup .resonitepackage for instant drag-and-drop setup with Resonite.
- A pre-setup .unitypackage for importing and uploading into VRChat. (Thanks to Cyrus and ModernBalloonie for their help with this!)
- A .blend file of the raw 3D assets for use with Blender (5.2 LTS).
- An .spp file for use with Adobe Substance Painter. (2024 edition, Thanks to Rinuzu for help with this!)
This is what you can do with this avatar:
- Freely edit and modify the avatar in any way you wish.
- Freely distribute edits or extra content made for the avatar to other individuals who have also purchased the avatar.
- Sell your own additions for the avatar, including but not limited to: clothing, accessories, textures, etc.
- Use the avatar in media creation or other art.
This is what you cannot do with this avatar:
- Give or sell the avatar to individuals who have not paid for the avatar themselves. (Gifting/purchasing for another is okay though!)
Things you should do if you plan on creating additional content for the avatar:
- Credit me (Ryuvi) in whatever manner is appropriate. Linking to this store page or my main page here is preferred, but not required.
- Show me what you've done with the avatar! (if you want!) I enjoy seeing the creativity of others. :>

- Fluff: Longer Head Fluff, Bigger Tail Fluff

- Claws: Longer, Smaller

Finally, for those interested in some species lore to help with character or content creation, here are some tidbits:
- The Sylora are overwhelmingly predominantly all-white-furred, or albino. It's extremely rare, but grey-furred or black-furred Sylora do exist.
- The Sylora are a very magical species. Their planet - Syla - is a larger-than-Earth planet with a rich and wide variety of biomes, in part due to their planet also being a conduit of raw magical energy.
- Their magic is based on both willpower and physical strength - to cast a powerful spell, one must exert great strength in addition to great mental focus. Items can also be enchanted to offload this effort, but it takes much more upfront effort to enchant something versus just casting the spell.
- The species have a vide variety of what they consider as "genders" - there is of course male and female, but plenty of "configurations" which fall somewhere in between, and even a possibility of no "gender" at all.
- The species do have technology, a rich culture, and can travel in space, but all of this is founded on their magic (so, in a sense, magi-tech).
- Individual Sylora live a long life time, with an average life span of 250 Earth years naturally, and upwards of 1,000 Earth years with the help of their magic.
- Individuals can range from a height of about 4ft (122 cm) to 8ft (244 cm) tall. There are both bipedal and quadrupedal variants, with the quadrupeds having a similar - if slightly taller - height range, and sharing all other attributes as the bipedal Sylora.
