Lifeguard outfit for the Argus Doberman avatar

The muscular Doberman Argus has taken up a second profession!

The beaches and pools of VRChat are now safe. Argus won't let the water claim you — he'll make sure to carry you safely back to shore with his strong, fluffy paws!

The outfit includes:

• Cap
• Sunglasses
• Shirt
• Whistle with a lanyard
• Shorts

Customization

The package includes Substance Painter for working with the clothing textures. You don't have to stick to the standard lifeguard look — you can change the shirt pattern or the color of the shorts and customize the outfit to your liking.

Each piece of the outfit has its own separate texture, allowing you to mix and match individual items with your other outfits. You can also easily add or remove individual pieces from the project.

Argus Setup

The outfit comes pre-configured for the Argus Doberman avatar. It includes menu toggles for switching individual clothing items on and off. The whistle and the drawstrings on the shorts also have physics and gravity enabled.

Quest Compatibility

The sunglasses use transparency for the lenses. If you want to use them on Quest, you can disable the transparency. I have created a separate lens material specifically to make this process easier.

Installation

The outfit is distributed as a Unity Package.

To install the outfit:

1. Import the .unitypackage file into your Unity project by dragging it into the Assets folder.
2. Locate the outfit prefab in the imported folder.
3. Drag the prefab into the Hierarchy of your avatar.
4. The outfit is already configured for the Argus Doberman avatar and includes the necessary menu toggles.

Requirements

This outfit requires the following packages to be installed in your Unity project:

• VRCFury
• Poiyomi Toon Shader

Please make sure both packages are installed before importing and setting up the outfit.

Avatar Compatibility

You can use this outfit with other avatars as well, but I cannot guarantee perfect compatibility with avatars other than Argus Doberman.

Using the outfit on other avatars may require Blender knowledge to adjust the clothing deformation and weight painting.

Terms of Use

You may modify the outfit for personal use and use it for your streams, artwork, animations, and other personal projects.

You may not share or redistribute the included materials or files with third parties who have not purchased this product.
