Product Description

★ Description

In the past, having weak vision might have been seen as a flaw. But today, that’s no longer true. I

nstead, it has become a "personality," a part of one's "charm"—fully embraced by the world.

People might still say that being "weak" in some way is a bad thing. But surely, the future will tell a different story.

Let the world be colored by your lenses—as long as you see hope through them.

Take them in your hands, and put them on.

Tell me, what do you see through these lenses?

"WearGlasses" is a 3D prop designed for VRChat. It is fully compatible with Modular Avatar, allowing for an easy, "drag-and-drop" setup on your avatar.

These glasses feature a wide range of BlendShapes, allowing you to adjust their shape to fit many different avatars perfectly. Using the Expressions Menu, you can instantly move the glasses between three positions: Eyes, Head, and Chest. Four color variations are included, and you can create your own original colors by customizing the materials.

Through the menu, you can also toggle "Glowing Lenses" for an intellectual look or switch to "Sunglasses" mode for a wilder style. Additionally, you can perform the "Adjusting Glasses" motion either via the menu or by simply bringing your hand close to the frames. If you’ve always wanted to be a "Megane" (glasses-wearing) character, this is for you!

★ Adjusting the Glasses

By bringing your hand close to the frames, you can perform the "adjusting glasses" (Qui-tt) motion.

★ Installation Steps

[Project Preparation]

  1. Install the VRChat Creator Companion (VCC), select "Create New Project," and choose the "Avatar" template. (Skip if you already have a project.)
  2. Click "Manage Project" for your project. Search for and install "VRChat SDK - Avatars" and "lilToon".
  3. If they are not found, search for their official websites and follow the latest installation instructions.
  4. Launch the project once the packages are installed.

[Importing Data]

  1. Drag and drop your avatar data into the Unity project.
  2. Drag and drop the ".unitypackage" file downloaded from this page into the same project.
  3. Ensure all items in the import window are checked, then click "Import."
  4. Open the folder named "AvatarSetup". Choose your preferred Prefab from the avatar folders inside.

[Attaching via Modular Avatar (MA)]

  1. Drag your avatar into the "Hierarchy" window.
  2. Drag and drop the MA-compatible Prefab directly onto your Avatar's Root object.

[Item Setup & Adjustment]

  1. If you are using a non-supported avatar, you may need to adjust the item's position. If your avatar is not in "AvatarSetup," select a Prefab (e.g., Nemo or Rinasciita) and place it under your avatar.
  2. Expand the "PWeG_Glasses" object and all sub-hierarchies under "MA_ConstPos".
  3. Adjust the positions of the following target objects: "Target_Eyes" (Eyes), "Target_Forehead" (Top of head), and "Target_Chest" (Chest). By default, the glasses are positioned at the eyes, so start your adjustments there. Fine-tuning the shape will come later.
  4. To adjust other positions more easily, you can temporarily move the item's preview:
    • Locate the "VRC Parent Constraint" component on the Game Objects under "MA_Item".
    • Under the "Sources" list in the Inspector, find the "Weight" values. Set the Weight to "1" for the position you are currently adjusting, and set all others to "0".
    • Confirm that the item has moved to the desired target, then adjust the target's position. Repeat this for all three locations.
  5. To fine-tune the shape of the glasses: Select the "PWeG_Glasses" object (located inside the "Transform" object) and adjust the "BlendShapes" in the Skinned Mesh Renderer component. (Note: Do not change the "Fold" parameter, as it is used for the gimmick.)
  6. Enter Play Mode to test the movement. If everything looks correct, you are ready!

[How to Hide Items During Upload]

The item will automatically turn off via the animation, so there is no issue. However, if you wish to hide the item manually during upload:

  • Navigate through the item's hierarchy and disable the Game Object named "Transform" in the Inspector (uncheck the box next to the name).
  • The item will still function perfectly when toggled via the Expressions Menu in-game.

[Uploading]

  1. Press the Play button in Unity. Use the Gesture Manager to verify that the item is properly attached and functioning.
  2. If there are no issues, open the VRChat SDK panel and upload your avatar. (If warnings appear, use the "Auto-Fix" button.)
  3. You're done! Enjoy your time in VRChat!

★ Troubleshooting

  • Unity Version: Built for Unity 2022.3.22f1. Please ensure your project matches.
  • Pink Materials: Install the "lilToon" shader.
  • VRChat SDK: Required for uploading.
  • Errors: Try updating VRChat SDK or Modular Avatar to the latest versions.
  • Gimmick Malfunctions: Do not change the hierarchy or names within the Prefab.
  • Avatar Parameters: Ensure you haven't exceeded the VRChat parameter limit.
  • Interaction Issues: Ensure "Allow Avatar Interactions" is enabled in your VRChat in-game settings.
  • The display may not appear correctly depending on your "Li AutoFixMeshSetting" configuration. If you experience issues, please try adding "PWeG_Glasses" to the exclusion list.
  • If your facial expressions do not move in MMD worlds, try enabling "Write Defaults" in the "MA Merge Animator" component of the item.
