The brilliance of a gemstone can entice the heart and, at times, drive it to madness. In the hunger for possession, who might be left wounded by that desire?

Yet, lift your gaze. Behold the breathtaking beauty of the boundless sky. It cannot be grasped, yet it remains—the most vast and undeniable "beauty" in existence. It belongs to no one, for it exists for every living soul. A true, supreme treasure.

Now, I wonder... is the longing to reach for it a reflection of human ugliness, or our innate beauty?

And could you, perhaps, bestow upon another the same profound wonder that the sky bestows upon us?

"FieldRing" is a ring-style accessory designed for VRChat. The gemstone features two default styles: Blue Sky and Outer Space. It is compatible with Modular Avatar for a seamless setup. Whether worn as a ring, a bracelet, or a choker—feel free to wear it however you choose.

The ring features 9 BlendShapes, allowing you to adjust the shape to fit perfectly on any part of your avatar. By swapping the gemstone material, you can easily create a personalized ring that suits your style.

The Extended Version includes the "FieldRing System: Domain Expansion." This gimmick deploys a dome-shaped space with a 5-meter radius, transforming the scenery when viewed from within. It includes four themes—Blue Sky, Outer Space, Light, and Dark—allowing you to change the atmosphere to match your mood or refresh the environment while chatting with friends.

Note: Using different versions may cause unexpected errors.

Compatible with most avatars, but manual position adjustment is required. The following list includes avatars for which pre-adjusted data is already included.

If you use these avatars, we recommend using the dedicated sets found in the "AvatarSetup" folder.

★ Installation Steps

【Project Preparation】

1. Install VRChat Creator Companion (VCC). Click "Create New Project" and select "Avatar." (Skip if you already have a project).
2. In VCC, click "Manage Project." Search for and install "VRChat SDK" and "lilToon."
3. If not found, please search for their respective official pages and follow the latest installation instructions.
4. Launch the project.

【Importing Data】

1. Import your avatar data into the Unity project.
2. Drag and drop the ".unitypackage" file downloaded from the shop. (Import Order: Standard (ST) → Extended (EX)).
3. Ensure all items are checked in the import window and click "Import."
4. The Modular Avatar (MA) compatible items are located in the "AvatarSetup" folder.

【Attaching via Modular Avatar (MA)】

1. Place your avatar prefab into the Hierarchy.
2. Drag and drop the "MA" prefab directly onto your avatar's root GameObject.
3. • Note: "MA_Ring_L" is pre-configured for the Left Index Finger, and "MA_Ring_R" is for the Right Index Finger.
4. Select the object named "Ring_Transform" to adjust its position and scale.
5. To adjust the shape of the ring itself, select the object named "Ring_Mesh" and modify the "BlendShape" values in the Inspector.

【Customizing Appearance】

1. You can change the appearance by dragging and dropping materials from the "Material" folder.
2. You can also customize the ring or gemstones by applying any material of your choice.

【Attaching to Different Fingers/Bones】

1. Select the object named "MA_" inside the prefab.
2. In the "MA Bone Proxy" component in the Inspector, find the "Target" field and select the specific bone where you want to place the ring.

【Uploading】

1. Press the Play button in Unity. Use the Gizmo to verify that the ring is correctly attached and fits the finger.
2. If everything looks good, upload via the VRChat SDK toolbar. (If warnings appear, clicking the "Fix" button will resolve most issues).
3. Done! Enjoy!

★ Troubleshooting

1. Check if Unity version matches 2022.3.22f1.
2. If the material is pink, install lilToon.
3. Ensure VRChat SDK and Modular Avatar are up to date.
4. Do not rename or change the hierarchy within the Prefab, as this may break the gimmick.
5. Check that your avatar's total parameter count does not exceed the limit.
