Ari - The Rose's Patchwork [VRChat PC + Quest]

Deep underground - far deeper than the machines dared to look - a wandering rose assembled some shards stolen from the ones which dwell above. The rose began with a body, borrowed from that young scapegoat who had not yet found her way home. The rose then grafted on a spirit - the same one that the sketched man had so carefully cultivated within his mask. As a final gift, the rose gave its own thorns.

As the roots took hold, Ari opened their many eyes for the first time. The fire in their pupils burned bright, in defiance of the suffocating darkness of the underground.

The rose smiled. It knew that Ari had the strength to leave this place and find their home outside these walls, into the worlds beyond.

"Grow," the rose urged. "Your predecessors may be pruned, but the machines have no grasp on you."

FEATURES:

• A unique sketched look, which is animated “on twos” similar to many animated shows and movies. “On twos” refers to the way animations are made at 24 frames per second, and the characters are only animated to move every second frame. Ari’s textures also have a slight jitter, as if they are being redrawn every frame. The on twos system includes:
• An ability to toggle the system on and off
• A slider to control the movement framerate speed
• A toggle to switch between smoother movement, or true low framerate movement
• A built in system to rebind your expressions to different gestures on the fly, in case you like to have specific expressions on certain gestures, or if you don't want gesture controlled expressions at all
• 11 eyes which will all follow the same target
• Toggles for the jacket, pupil shape, optional mohawk-style head spikes (with adjustable size), and the ability to toggle or change the size of the arm spikes
• Proportioned with full-body tracking in mind

Permitted use:

• Uploading to virtual reality social platforms such as VRChat as a private avatar is permitted.
• Modifying the model for personal use is permitted.
• Repurposing portions of the avatar to "kitbash" or implement onto other avatars for personal use is permitted.
• Edited versions of this avatar, or creations using repurposed portions of this avatar all must abide by this license agreement.
• Credit attribution is preferred, but not necessary.
• Temporary transfer of files to a commissioner for the purpose of editing the avatar is permitted.
• Note: the commissioner is not required to purchase the original avatar, however, the commissioner must delete all avatar files following the completion of the commission, and is not permitted to use the files for any personal use without purchasing the avatar.
• Use of the avatar in live streaming or video production is permitted.
• Credit attribution is preferred, but not necessary.

Forbidden use:

• Uploading this avatar as a public avatar is strictly prohibited.
• Presenting the avatar, any portion of the avatar, or the character as your own design or creation is prohibited.
• Sale of the whole avatar or any part of the avatar or package is prohibited, even if it is edited.
• Redistribution or transfer of the files of the whole avatar or any part of the avatar or package is prohibited, even if it is edited.
• The only exception to this is for the purposes of an avatar commission, as stated above in the "permitted use" section.
• The unauthorized sale of derivative works involving the character is prohibited.
• The only exception to this is individual art commissions intended for personal use, with credit attribution as mentioned above.
• Producing derivative works of the character while presenting the character as your own design is prohibited.

• Use of the avatar or any package data in media other than virtual reality social platforms is prohibited without express permission from me.

It is the purchaser’s duty to maintain responsible use of the avatar, and inform others of the license agreement rules when it becomes relevant.
