HOW DOES IT WORK?

Create clean, customizable VRChat signs without Udon or runtime overhead. Just type your text in Unity, and the sign automatically adjusts itself to fit.

The included editor-only script measures the text, extends the center section only when needed, and moves the end caps outward while preserving the original frame design. No manual scaling, no repeated setup, no in-game logic.

Because the system is built from separate Left_Cap, Center_Block, Right_Cap and Text pieces, creators can also make their own frame variants. Swap the mesh pieces, design new caps, create different center blocks, or build entire themed sign sets while using the same dynamic resizing script.

Best of all, it does not use Udon and does not run every frame. Once placed in your world, the sign remains lightweight, static, and VRChat-friendly.

Perfect for optimized worlds, themed environments, storefronts, labels, directions, room names, menus, and custom decorative signage.

TEXTURES

- 512×512 base color per sign. Normals and AO baked directly into the base color.

TEXTURES MEMO

Intentionally not shipped at higher resolutions.

512×512 is the correct resolution for signage props and textures still look super sharp. If you purchased source files I would highly encourage you to not change sign resolution after making edits.

Your world's texture memory budget will thank you. Here is the comparison list below of the budgets. Never ever use 4K textures in your world. Use 2K super rarely and instead use 1024x1024 or below as much as possible. Ideally your worlds should be 90% 1K textures and below and then other 10% 2K textures and no higher then that.

  • 512x512 - 0.33MB VRAM (Compressed + Mipmaps)
  • 2048×2048 - 5.33 MB VRAM (Compressed + Mipmaps)
  • 4096×4096 - 21.3 MB VRAM (Compressed + Mipmaps)
