The Fenji were born from subterranean dragon like creatures on a dwarf planet within the belt of La, migrating to a briefly inhabitable surface where their bodies change and culture thrives. That is, it did, before their atmosphere is shredded and technology sends them outward, spreading throughout a once dormant asteroid belt.
