REQUIREMENTS
Windows PC VRChat only. Standalone Quest / Android are not supported.
Fitted to Shinano v1.02 at standard body size and scale.
Verified project: Unity 2022.3.22f1, VRChat SDK Avatars 3.10.4, Modular Avatar 1.18.7 (NDMF 1.14.8).
Other avatars or changes to legs, shoes, height or scale require manual adjustment. Intended for flat floors; stairs/slope alignment is not guaranteed. Uses VRCRaycast, so older SDKs may not work.
SETUP
Import the unitypackage into an avatar project with SDK Avatars and Modular Avatar installed. Add ONE supplied Shinano prefab directly under the avatar root, keeping its outer position/rotation at zero and scale at one. Modular Avatar adds foot binding, FX and the menu. Full Japanese and English instructions are included.
Walking and grounded foot contacts emit the effect. Standing still does not emit repeatedly. Turning it off stops new particles while existing ones fade naturally.
ONLINE VISIBILITY
SDK Build & Test is local-only. For normal use, upload your avatar online as Private with an eligible VRChat account (New User or higher, etc.). The display toggle is network-synced, but contacts and particles are calculated locally, so exact placement and timing can differ between viewers. Other users' Safety, avatar and particle settings may hide the effect.
Multi-client visibility/synchronization has not been verified for this product.
TEST SCOPE
Walking, appearance and fading checked locally in Windows PC VRChat on Shinano on October 10, 2026. Other avatars, slopes/stairs and client FPS have not been verified. World lighting, background and post-processing affect appearance. No realtime lights are included.
INCLUDED
AmberTrace_PC_v1_0.unitypackage, Japanese/English setup guides, specifications and terms of use.
Avatar, clothes, shoes, world, SDK and Modular Avatar are NOT included.
The validated native Unity export is preserved unchanged. Internal version folders and LOCAL_TEST names remain to preserve references; they do not prevent online use. The ZIP's release guides supersede the older in-Unity development note.
MEDIA & CREATION
Tripo-generated source ornament with edited geometry, baked footprint imagery, extracted leaves, custom materials, shaders and particle setup. The cover uses AI-assisted text/border layout based on a VRChat capture. Additional screenshots and the walking video show actual PC VRChat footage.

Personal use, modifications, images/videos and monetized streams are allowed. Redistribution, resale, extractable sharing and use on Public avatars are prohibited. See included LICENSE_EN.txt for full terms.
