His coat, a swirl of colors like a painter’s palette, made folks stop and stare, but it was his blue eyes sharp as glacier ice that held their gaze, sparkling with a mischievous wisdom. Miso wore a tiny, hand-stitched kimono, dyed to match his tri-colored fur, with a single blue bead dangling from his collar that glowed faintly when the moon peeked out. Legend was, Miso wasn’t just any dog; he was a fox spirit’s kin, born to guide lost souls through lantern-lit nights. As he darted between stalls, snatching a fallen mochi and winking at a wide-eyed kid, you could almost believe he’d lead you to some secret, magical place if you followed long enough..🐶
