Splash Zone! SlimeVR Compatible case

Here at ERPToys we are well aware that sometimes things get a little... messy.
And whilst we are all for it, your tracker(s) situated in the splash zone may not be so keen on it.
That's why we came up with the: Splash Zone, an alternative water resistant Case for SlimeVR trackers!
Simply print the pieces, transfer your SlimeVR hardware from the original case to this one, close it up and voila!

We opted for a simple, but effective sleeve design. This means the tracker is almost entirely covered by a flexible water resistant casing.
Whilst not water proof it's sure to survive most accidental spills, splashed and slippery substances that may end up on it.
The tracker is also still fully usable without the sleeve, and because the sleeve is removable it's also super easy to clean!
When using the sleeve simply flip the power switch to the on position and put the sleeve over the tracker.
Please ensure that the protruding bit of the sleeve slots into the cavity where the charging port and power switch reside!


BOM:

For this project you will need a few things, mainly:
- Filament for the case (PLA+, PETG or ABS)
- Filament for the gasket and sleeve (Esun TPE, whilst tpu will work it may be too stiff)
- M3x16mm Button Head screws

Print settings:

All parts are designed to print entirely support free.
It is recommended to first properly dial in your printer as some of these parts have quite tight tolerances, Luckily TPE is quite forgiving.
The default 0.2mm layer height profile in orca slicer is what I personally use and recommend.
Make sure to dry the TPE thoroughly for at least a few hours preferably up to 12 hours for the best results.
