People pay her in boiled-milk and stories, in carved beads and a warm place to string a light-bridge for a night, but what she keeps are the small, secret patterns—the unremarkable edits that prevent a herd from trampling a spring, the single-note repair that saves a song from collapsing. Wherever paths are thin and memory thinner, Yua moves like a quiet stitch, and she braids the world's fracture-lines into lasting passages with nothing but light and patient memory.
